Home grown, then flown, now back to support the community we love...

We are here to get more involved in the community we love, live and work. While we absolutely love Encinitas, sometimes, due to the size, it can be challenging to feel like you are getting involved and being a part of the community. Sweet Home Encinitas, is our avenue to get more connected with the community members through community events, central communication, givebacks, and more. Be involved as little or as much as you would like as this experience is suppose to be nothing but a pleasure and to suit your comfort levels in all aspects. You can sign up for different member list, depending on what you would like to participate in and how involved you would like to be. You can simply stay up to date on the latest neighbor news/events, participate in community events, or be showered by local monthly giveaways and birthday gifts for you from us and local businesses. Joining our Facebook group is the best way to Join!

Please always feel free to contact us if you have any questions at all!

About the Founders

I had the pleasure of growing up in Village Park, Encinitas till I was about 13, then move to Leucadia. I attended Flora Vista Elementary, then Diegueno Middle School and LCC High School. I knew we lived in a wonderful place but I didn't really understand how much I loved it until I moved away for two years to attended San Francisco State University. It was a great experience to move out on my own and explore a new city but I deeply missed everything about home. I missed the weather, the community and most of all, my family. Being a third generation San Diegian, I'm very fortunate most of my family lives close by. Each time I missed one of our traditional Sunday family dinners with the whole gang of 28, I felt I was missing out! Soon enough, I transferred back home to finish my Bachelors in Business Administration at the University of San Diego. I am lucky to have a flexible work schedule working as Director of Operations for a small IT company and as a Realtor to still have plenty of time to stay involved in the community and most importantly spend lots of quality time with our son.
Britt Nordio
"I was born and raised in a small town called Mira, about 15 miles outside of Venice, Italy. I met Britt, while she was backpacking through Europe during her Spring break in her Junior year in College. We had 4 hours together in the most romantic city in the world, and we knew right then, we wanted to spend our life together. Never did I think I would leave my loving family, and beautiful country but I was ready to follow her anywhere. How thankful I am, she lived in such an awesome place as Encinitas. We have been married for nearly 11 years and when we had our son, we knew we had to do everything we could to get back to Encinitas. It just felt right to raise him in this nice community. There is just something about it, I can't explain. We really enjoy working together as a team in Real Estate and getting involved in the community as much as possible. As community involvement and knowing your neighbors is something embedded in our culture back home.
